Don’t care what he has done previously only care about what he is doing to the team I support. Just what is his responsibility if not to get them to gel be competitive and moving in the right direction

He may coach the team very well,but they dont have the mental capacity to deliver on the day...As far as what he is doing to the team you support,check out what the overhyped playmaker we have had for 8 years is doing to the team by not controlling or leading the team around the park...and thats HIS job...

Ok so we do agree on Brooks I said it in other post about him . As for the team not having the mental capacity he has recruited the majority of the squad he also re-signed Brooks as for coaching the team very well we will see end of season

Macguire's bench selections and rotation has been terrible from the moment he got here.

Madden,Simkin,and anyone that can play centre, should be given a go. We have to get more speed and variation in the side, we are padentic.

2 areas of the team issues are the following:

Edge Defence - too much space and time, no urgency nor communication. You use your sideline as the extra defender. We tend to defend up and in which leads to massive gaps on the outside. I would much rather us use a up and slide defence moving the attackers towards the sideline by limiting space but that means your inside defenders need to work overtime.

Attack in opposition 20M - i struggle to see any creativity or build pressure to score. It is so easy to defend. The fact that we have only scored 2 tries through a dummy half tells you everything. This is the one area that Madge and his staff needs to take some blame and fix. Brooks needs to be blamed also as he is the one that is meant to control the tactics to score when in this position.

We have given Brooks to many chances to succeed. I think it is time to let him go or drop him so he gets the message. Because we have Madden, Talau, and Laurie who can take his spot. I don't get why he hasn't gotten the message. The reason this team isn't succeeding is LUKE BROOKS.

Laurie is a 6

Maybe we push Douhie to centres or Mmbye
Move Brooks to 6
go and buy a 7 (not a fan of Aiden Sezer or Sam Williams) but not much out there

Laurie is the best FB we have. Brooks should not be in FG. Everytime channel 9 moved the cameras to him, he's silent and it shows in the way the team is structured. All other competent halfbacks are yelling, pointing their fingers at where they want players...not Brooks, he's out there playing with the mute button pressed.

Well last season Madge didn’t hesitate to make changes, so much so he was questioned by many for causing instability in the team. Now after 2 games, fans are screaming for wholesale changes. Who would want to be a coach?
However our current left edge is not going to improve itself in a hurry so We have got to look at mbye at centre instead of Joey, and Talau on the wing instead of AJ. As much as I’d prefer 4 big forwards on the bench sharing minutes better, I think we may be better served having Jake S on the bench coming on for Liddle to change things up in attack. As to Brooks and AD in the halves, in our current squad they seem to be the best options we have so we have to give them some time.

Agree Laurie is a fullback, and a great one I was responding to a post where someone had Laurie as a 7 to replace Brooks I meant at a pinch he could play 6 but agree wouldn't move him.
No idea what to do with Brooks was a supporter but basically given up now. No idea where to from here as to who can play 7 do we throw Madden to the wolves ??
