If he leaves now he accepts responsibility and he’s not going down that path. You saw his response before, it’s not only the fans who are angry, internally the management as well,
That’s not the response of a guy who sees it all as “his problem”.
Sheens and Co have been out in place and at an appropriate time they will be reviewed , most likely by him and Lee.
You see, if by some chance, things turn around, he won’t have any issue getting a new job. I’ve seen this happen quite a few times in a 40 year corporate career.
Guys teetering on the edge who suddenly turn things around, or something happens to turn things around, and they go from being chumps to champs.
 
Justin Pascoe apparently talked to Emma Lawrence tonight... Club favourite Chris Lawrence' sis.... Took the easy option, much like his refusal to front 360 and nip it all in the bud-that wouldve been to hard, too tough... Better to let someone else do it like Klemmer and Twal.
Sums this club up perfectly.

Dumb arse chairman. "Reserves all rights' is just meaningless lawyer bullshit. Wests Tigers employ too many people to commence defamation action. A decent lawyer would know that before opening his mouth and watching his guts fall out. Punt him.

Again, from the outside looking in - I was pretty astonished this story ran as the lead item on NRL 360. Sure, the club made a mistake and it blew up in their faces. But this is just a typical corporate screwup decision which takes place every day. The difference on this occasion is SOMEONE WAS LOOKING FOR IT.
 
All so embarrassing.

I definitely found it strange that PK was going in hard with his accusations, I know the club is inept but there was no way they would have been lying about who they consulted with.

But still, the whole thing is just... ugh. Two statements about a stupid little mistake, just move on.

I have some real dirt on Paul Kent, and its not rumour, I witnessed it first hand. But I have never told anyone, only talked about with those that were there with me. The way he is carrying on, I've been tempted to throw him under a bus, but won't. He deserves a tap on the chin.
 
blaming the media is weak. There’s always gunna be Kent’s. Blame the club for giving up idiotic reasons for dumb kents to report on them. It’s no coincidence that the kents focus on wests, it’s the gift that keeps giving.

The club screwed up, they accepted it- to me a blunder.

Now what PK did was extremely wrong. The statement provided by the Club is absolutely perfect IMO. The club is unprofessional, inept and I'd still probably get rid of the Board but this particular statement is perfect.

The mistake was made by Wests Tigers, NRL and Steeden, the other two kept their mouth shut and threw us under the bus. We accepted our mistake, didnt blame anyone else
