Bruce Springsteen apparently does not include Born in USA in his set anymore as it has been misinterpratation by so many. It is an anti-vietnam song.

Bruce always performs his signature song "Born to Run" and usually includes Thunder Road, She's the One, Tenth Avenue Freeze Out (all from the CD Born to Run) plus Badlands and Dancing in the Dark.

Does a 5 song encore with the lights on so everyone is up and dancing.

No flashy lights, fake blood, just pure rock and roll (yes I am very old school)

He is brillant and testimony of a performer who has been at the top of his game since 1975.

Tickets still avialble for this Friday so if you have a few dollars in your budget. Always tape the game.

Saw the Boss in 1985 Fav songs "I'm on Fire" and "Glory Days" and "Philadelphia"

I forgot to mention the other night just how good Thin Lizzy were opening for Crue/Kiss. Probably one of the most under-rated Rock and Roll bands in history

Yeah, but that was mainly due to Phil Lynott, he had a unique voice. Not sure how their songs would sound without him singing. Did their current singer try to sound like him or did he have his own style?
You can replace any other member of a band and still sound the same but replacing a singer is a whole different story.

He was alright, definitely had his own style. I just enjoyed it for what it was. It was a solid little 40 min set

Really good mixture last night.

The man has energy beyond compare.

Springsteen & Tom Morello doing Ghost of Tom Joad was spectacular

Tom Morello was brillant and added to the concert. Ghost of Tom Joad was a highlight as well as Thunder Road and Born to Run.

No Glory Days? No Philadelphia? As mentioned by someone earlier in this thread he supposedly doesn't include Born In The USA in his set because it is interpreted wrongly…that is just political correctness gone mad....it is his best and most awe-inspiring song by a mile IMO.
Would have been a great show, but I would have left feeling a little bit short-changed with the exclusion of those 3 songs.

Smeghead - interesting the Boss changed a lot of his songs from Monday night.

Would have been upset that Thunder Road was ommitted however Jungleland is a great replacement.

Speculations he is filming his Australian shows for a DVD concert release.

Fade To Black you should have gone to the Friday night show

He played Born In the USA

Aerosmith have cancelled their Sydney gig and are now playing the Stone festival instead. Considering they were playing ANZ Stadium wouldn't surprise me if they weren't selling enough tickets so got offered a spot on the Stone bill. Saying they're playing that festival looks better than moving their show to All Phones as it would be quite obvious. Not too mention anyone who had tickets are now eligible for the Saturday show. What if Aersosmith sold 80 thousand tickets, how would they fit them all in?
