Congrats to Matulino on a great career. One of the best props to play this game in his prime and most importantly a quality bloke who goes about his business without any fuss. It unfortunately didn't end in the best manner, but good things happen to good people and your future will be secure hopefully. All the best in retirement Mats! We wish you all the best!

Thanks for all your efforts Ben you certainly tried your best for us as you did for the warriors. You had a distinguished career and represented you country on many occassions and have much to be proud of

Thanks for everything Big Ben, loved what you brought to the team. Not only did you add some punch to our defense, you were a great role model for our younger props coming through.
Loved your performance v Manly last year and the forced errors against teams like the Sharks, Roosters and Storm.
I wish you all the best and please know that this fan certainly appreciated the sacrifices you made - especially to help our team move on from toxic players.

So NRL not showing indicators of being anti-Tigers afterall?

Good decision by the NRL. They're the best.

If he came to us in his prime, he’d have been a forum favourite. Severely underrated due to playing the majority of his career out of site, out of mind at the Warriors.

Great news. The NRL sure hate us don’t they?

Maybe we just got lucky Brisbane and Souths want one also otherwise we might be still waiting :eyes:

Thanks for the effort Big Ben, you could never doubt his effort and commitment but unfortunately his body couldn’t cash the cheque’s his heart was writing.

Good luck to you and your family in retirement big fella!!!

He was the best prop in the world around 2010-2011. I still remember when he used to consistently sit Sam Thaiday on his ass. Thaiday would go over to NZ thinking he's hot stuff, then almost every year, without fail, Matulino would send him to Disneyland.

Great player 1st NYC player to play 150 NRL games , always showed up for this club despite his injuries , represented his country with class

Pity we didn't get to see his best , wish you best of luck post football
