Congrats Benji Marshall

Looks to have found his feet at another club, he delivered us a premiership and other memories which will not be forgotten. He needed the change and looks to be a contender for the NZ squad. Needed the change.

I hold no grudges either.
Just wish his new attitude could have been discovered under Potter last year.

How he is playing now is how Potter wanted him to play. I suppose not succeeding at Union taught him something.

He's just another player to me and at my age I really don't give a ****. Seen many a top flight player come and go. Good luck to them, then and now.

I just feel for the junior Tiger supporters watching him play in another strip.

I agree and that's the main reason our membership numbers are so low this year . We all know benji wasn't happy in his final stint with us and we know he was woeful . But the kids out their didn't care , they loved benji !

Success or failure, who cares. He's gone get over it. Some of you guys should start posting in the Dragons forum. I tell you what, if the Dragons made the grand final with Benji, nothing would change, I'd still want them to lose. Please, enough of these dribbling treads.

He is probably one of the most "talented" footballers to ever play the game.
A natural athlete who could have been good at just about anything he tried.

He was a small player playing against big players which caused him injuries regularly.
I honestly believe if he was coached better, by a smarter person he would be three times the player he is today.

His best days are behind him and he was definitely a scape goat for the club.
No beef with him, think we're a better club without - however, just trying to say… Tim Sheens did him no favors and if he was under Des or Bellamy.... He'd be spoken about in the same regards as Inglis and Thurston types.

X100 Benji playing at the tigers the last couple of years was lazy, unfit, and careless with the ball in hand. Lost us a lot of games because of it. He didn't care enough,to change and improve his game under Potter. I loved the younger Benji but now,he lost my respect and support since he went back on his word of " I'll Never play Against the Tigers!!!

I've been watching football for a long time, and Benji is up there as one of my favourite players of all time - alongside Arthur Summons, Noel Kelly, Tommy Raudonikis and Robbie Farah.

Benji was regarded as the equal and better of Greg Inglis and Thurston, he was player of the year in 2011, I think it was.

I believe he felt he couldn't work with the current board, who have continued to prove themselves scumbags in recent days by 'hanging Robbie out to dry' and trying to blame him for the fact that they want to can Potter.

We were the losers and St George the winners in all this.

He's still slow as a wet week and can't tackle, that hasn't changed since 2013.

I agree with tigermaniac, no hate, but no care either. Maybe I will soften towards him in years to come, as I have with guys like Brasher, but right now he plays for the ENEMY.
