It was pretty obvious to see that in the second half the team was more United in movements across the width of the defensive line.

It would be a worthwhile exercise to tie a 2 m piece of rope to each of the players and have them all run up together and back. I wonder how many times the players would all fall over in the middle?

The issue I have there, despite it may well be true what he's saying, and not his fault defensively, it is a very poor look to dump his teammates in it publicly. Not good for building a cohesive unit. How are they going to trust him beside them next game when they know he may just badmouth them again.

I didn’t take it as though he was pointing the blame at any particular players. Thought he was more pointing out what was going wrong in the first half and what was corrected in the 2nd.
The bad look is that they needed to be reminded how to defend at half time.

Pretty sure someone ran past stef in the parra game to score a try because he was still flopping back to the defensive line. I like stef but just an example of poor commitment to the competition. Like Madge has said, Attitude needs to change.

Although he’s had his moments in defence over the years, this year he is constantly faced with 2 (and 3) on 1’s in defence. There’s severe issues on the edge inside him, to be fair.

But we keep hearing this stuff about “what is a WT Player”.

Fans see a WT player as someone who’ll bust his gut to get out of our red zone, even when it’s not his turn. (like his full back) That’s more important than stats. WT players DO NOT mope about on the wing and pass the buck on social media, I’m afraid Nofo.
