Well said, this forum is full of rubbish and wishful thinking.

Un-signed I think. Might be on a 2nd tier contract dunno.

Get set for the return of McDonnell and Fitzhenry.

Payten needs to start performing. He is a worry for me. Gibbs had a great run over 8 or so games which is more than what Payten has done this year. As a senior player I have expected something from him week out and I don't think he has delivered.

what the Hell ??? Payten has been doing great for the tigers very good consistency good hit ups ,and off loads
all he has to do is keep doing what he has done.

Hardly. You quoted a post that was from July and back then Payten was woefully out of form, he has only been picked up since the 6 win streak.. hardly consistent.

New to the forum, and I'll throw in my two cents worth.

Bryce Gibbs conceding penalties like no tomorrow is a myth, however **_he does_** give away stupid penalties which is what costs the Tigers dearly.

Payten has only really hit his straps when the Tigers hit their streak. I get a cold shiver down my back whenever I see the pill sail his way, his dropped ball prior to that streak was abhorrent. He was good in past years, but I think its time he was snapped up by an ESL team.

I see the signings of Mitch Brown, Tame Tupou and Arana Taumata. Where does this leave Ayshford (in the centres, its obvious he will be moved to lock,) Beau Ryan (for Tupou or Brown,) and Blake Lazarus (Taumata would be the obvious pick here?)

We've got backs coming out of our arse and seem to be signing more and only seem to promoting juniors on second tier contracts to first grade. How about making a good play for a half decent lock, and leave Ayshford where is? Moltzen formed a formidable combination with Marshall in the halves, regardless of how Lui is playing, because Moltzen seems to be the answer. We've lost Gallant to the Cowboys, let's leave the incumbent (Lazarus,) there to get the chance he has been robbed of? Moltzen at half and Ryan as a flyer would make sense as they have left their impression at FG level and as the incumbents deserve an opportunity to play on and give themselves a shot at being a part of the WT long term future.

Dane Laurie is another subject of contention. As far as I'm concerned, at the age of 25 and possessing the discipline that an under 10's player would surpass suggests that he is not right at the Tigers. He will probably go on to play great football at another club (which happens,) but it seems to be robbing another hopeful an opportunity in the big league, as Laurie only really got a run when there was no other option.

Can someone update me on the signings apart from the below?
- Mitch Brown
- Geoff Daniela
- Mark Flanagan
- Tame Tupou
- Arana Taumata

Cheers.

Has Wests Tigers actually announced signing Mark Flanagan. Have seen plenty of media inferring so, but nothing official from the tigers.

Yeah I know Flanagan hasn't actually put pen to paper yet, but he is touted as an odds on bet. It would be nice to see the Tigers make a play for an established and talented front rower, the Ginger Ninja and Gibbsey do well, but we're missing the X-factor off the bench.

McDonnell will be paid as part of the top 25 also if not picked up by another club next season.

We can now relax a little, Shannon has signed with the Knights for the next 2 years

Wow they must be desperate! Good news for us though! Warren can't try bring him back now!

good for him

He was never going to come back to the club, he had a good season at the knights and they were always going to reward him with a new contract.

Folkesy on 2UE said prior to the under twenties game that the tigers would have a first grade squad of 33/34 next year. including the youth upgraded from 20s…
