The fallout from the Francois Botha and Sonny Bill Williams bout continues with a claim from the veteran South African boxer Botha that he was approached with a bribe to throw the fight.

Botha insists he's passed a second doping test in Cape Town but he's now claiming he was offered $150, 000 to throw the fight.

He says the offer was made by the fight’s promoter Khoder Nasser three days before last Friday’s fight.

“As I stopped at the park my cellphone was being confiscated and I was being walked, and during this walk was my offer to throw the fight,” Botha told LiveSPORT Radio.

He says he refused the offer.

Botha went the distance with the former All Black but lost by way of unanimous decision, Williams claiming the WBA International Heavyweight title.

yeh never really cared much about it but ever since the mundine-geale fight and this sbw fight, im starting to see why i never really cared. LOL

These 3 stoogers just embarrass the sport of boxing and it's athletes , Boxers train there guts out to get somewhere in there sport and you get these 3 monkeys (Mundine, S$W, and Cooper) insulting the sport Boxing is , to make a quick $$$$$ .
Mundine always tried to blame his race for not getting anywhere in League (Origin , Australia etc….)

Someone on the forum has an association with Big Daddy. He's look okay at times although he is pretty ordinary in his last fight. I'm not sure SBW wants to fight guys in their prime though!!

I looks like a typical heavyweight, slow and somewhat clumsy but he knows how to land that knock punch. I'm pretty sure he'd make a mess of SBW. If was handling SBW, I'd be avoiding at any cost.
