Corona impact on NRL...?

This bloke is a deadset flog ..

Scomo's decision would have nothing to do with Sharks or policy. It's likely because Peter Dutton is confirmed and he was in meetings with him the past couple of days.

I wouldn't be surprised is Scomo is diagnosed and isolated soon.

Doesn’t change my opinion that he’s a flog ..
A poorly advised flog as well ..
Both him and Dutton should piss off to Xmas island or go on a Princess cruise together.

Maybe free NRL memberships to stream? I'd hate the think the club has money pulled out of their coffers because of something unforeseen.

Surprise Another Lucker

Meant to say, “another lurker”... how would giving the free streams for their online platform help to reimburse clubs or even get the players (potentially in near future) their guaranteed earnings from TV rights broadcasts’ if they’re selfishly monopolising the monies in the wake of an apparently pandemic virus.

What if Fox has to actually shut down the workplace? No more televising.

How will KAYO or the game itself stay afloat?

Could be a very bad look for them to shirk responsibility like that, at this time. More of a 1 in, all in approach is suitable here and I think that means more than covering THEIR asses

It was just a suggestion. No need to go to town on me. Just ways for the NRL to recompense fans is all.

Sorry mate. You’re right I was perhaps a little careless with my words when passing my opinion, today has had some information passed to me that leads me to believe there is far, far more yet to play out regarding Corona.

As a you g man you’d think I wouldn’t be so worried but unfortunately that’s just the weight of the world at the moment. Have a nice night!

I don't know what people expect. Government says "go about your business".....citizens say why didn't they warn us? Government says "no gatherings of more than 500 people"....citizens again...."what an over reaction".
What a joke some people are. They call for leadership, get it, then harp on about how it doesn't suit them.

All good mate. No hard feelings. I'm in a high risk group but I choose to see it as I'm in borrowed time anyway and we aren't guaranteed safety so may as well have fun as long as I'm not careless.

Pretty good attitude to have mate. There is no need to be silly about this, follow the advice that is given and enjoy life. I have seen my 6 year old's anxiety level increase over this and I'd much prefer to stay calm and enjoy my life and have her do the same!

That was the F1's decision not the governments and it appears that the drivers didn't want to continue. The F1 also has people involved that tested positive!

I agree, however a decision was made for a reason and according to @cochise it's because it's precautionary. Nothing has been accurate or stable in this whole episode from the beginning in China. Its constantly changing and people whinging as it is, Imagine had they said today all citizens must stay home for 2 weeks the bleating that would follow and to be frank, people ignoring that directive would be ridiculous. Like i said, people cry for leadership, but have a massive sook if it doesn't suit them.

I've always had to adopt that attitude. But it really is right. Keep your extremities clean and everything else will be OK. I am saddened that kids think they will die over this. The Victor Chang CRI have stated that kids with or without heart impairment have much better survival rates than adults.
