100%, could you imagine going to work one day and your boss saying sorry we need you to stay here indefinitely. Peter Hiku’s wife is due to have a baby very soon, a lot of the squad would have young families. Family has to come first regardless. Imagine if the NRL keeps them here and one of there family members get sick.

Fox have paid billions of dollars for the rights to so many games per week, each week of the season.
What happens when NRL is suspended for a few weeks, or a few months, or most or even all of the season... does Fox just lose that money? Or do they take NRL to court and duke it out there? In Court usually the bigger fish wins, which is Fox.
Anyone know what the media companies are doing with the American sports, could this be an issue, or not?
Lol it’s not billions, but it’s a massive issue. It’s like your membership - you pay and can’t go, you want your money back. You sponsor something and it’s not delivered, you want your money back. No one is a charity, it’s So,ple contract law
It’s not a fox thing it’s a federal govt thing and they usually win.
Hopefully the tigers, Fox and the nrl Have the right insurances in place so I don’t lose out.
Put the tinfoil caps away people and go buy some toilet paper
Why the tinfoil cap comment, why insult people? Insults say more about the person giving the insult than the person they are directing it at.
I still say it's a legitimate question, can the NRL afford it if Fox don't pay some of those tv rights? You say you hope the right assurances are in place so you don't lose out, that's cool, Im wondering if the league can afford it and not go broke? I believe Tyga's post was along the same line.
Tin foil probably a reach and not directly at you, but most of the doomsday preppers out there (And more a sign of my general annoyance) and there are a few. (I’ve got a couple of kg’s of flour and no eggs.... hope you can make Dampier).
You are right, I’m generally fed up at the hysteria filled reactionism. Look at the Facebook posts saying I’ve hoarded a stockpile and FU...they get self worth out of that??? What about your parent, grand parents that are genuinely at risk - do they have food/sanitiser because they may dies???? <rant over>
For the nrl it’s hard, millions tied up, club members, club sponsors, nrl sponsors, tv, radio, online rights. Don’t forget the Media companies that onslold the rights, websites etcthat make money off free content (google Twitter Facebook etc) it’s a clustersometbing financially. We just saw AAP go out of business, what happens to journalism, seriously what happens if no one payS that bills. We get the ABC - Governement controlled - how’s that work in the rest of the works.
What about the nrl/Qrl is sso going Ahead, are juniors impacted, how about clubs without pokies.
No one will pay for something the don’t get, businesses are no different to you and I - except there is a mutually unacceptable position that can be negotiated. A win/win (or at least no ones loose) outcome.
Your questions are real
It’s a massive issue

@Strongee said in [Corona impact on NRL\.\.\.?](/post/1129337) said:just simply broadcast shows like NRL tonight and NRL on fox , who both use the NRL emblem and trademark in thier name , would still provide content for them whilst this is going on , so the idea that Fox are getting nothing of the games are called off , just isn’t true .
