Not quite? The SMH said they want to renegotiate the current deal and potentially extend. At a bargain price I would guess.
But the payments for this season will stop in April
Hap old mate I know that this is a conversation about the effect of the virus on the NRL,however as much as I like the game and the great WTs,Iam more concerned about the lives and livliehoods of the thousands of people who are at risk of losing everything atm.I don't want to sound like a party pooper but realistically the NRL and the players have been surrounded by more money than anyone else in our world,if they have to take a pay cut as players or the NRL have to find money to survive sobeit.....we are all told constantly that we are in this together,so as far as Im concerned the NRL and players are going to have to battle alongside all of us or stay in their own little protected area because they are involved in the NRL and think they deserve so much more than the rest of us..
Sorry mate ..some cold hard truths will do a lot of these blokes good
I was just pointing out a fact that Jirskyr may not have known as it only came out this morning about Ch 9 stopping payments now ..but wanting to renegotiate 2022 now
I say we tell Ch 9 to stick it where the sun shines ....they are bloody hopeless
I agree with that sentiment @happy_tiger. There will be heaps of opportunities for revenue once this has passed. Ch 9 would not be on the top of my list.
