I see lots of cars lined up on TV to get tested.
Outstanding.
But what about have some more tents just past the testing area, for people then to get their jabs.
Vaccine roll-out solved.

It will be difficult to maintain temp control, especially pfizer.

Friends were pulled over yesterday and fined $1K for being 10k out of their area. They were on their way to give blood, showed appointment email but cops weren’t interested. The cops were being jerks.

Good point, but the jab isn't compulsory (yet) and there is always the opportunity to provide optional AZ - more jabs are better than no extra jabs.

Close to Chatswood Blood Bank, probably about 1K away on the Pacific Hwy.

Man that's crappy. Blood stocks are low too so the cops should have known better.

Yeah, I’ve suggested they contact their local member and the Police Minister. Unacceptable and unreasonable IMO.

Even more infuriating is the cops made them turn-around and go home, so they couldn’t donate blood.

One would expect a Magistrate to wipe them.

Dear Staff,

Unfortunately the Health Minister has recently changed the NSW Health direction on residents leaving the hot spot LGA’s.

As such, if you reside in an affected LGA’s you are NOT to come to work as of 01/08/2021.

The previously issued Essential Worker Notice dated 27/07/2021 is void as of today if you live an affected LGA.

Again we appreciate this is a stressful time for everyone especially with conflicting advice being issued, but we must act and change our policies whenever the NSW Government policies or advice changes.

Further detail will be issued in the coming days.

------------------------------

Dunno why the essential worker notice is now void?

Somewhat clearer now, but they are certainly spot on with the "conflicting advice" bit that I highlighted from your post.

Why in hell is Gladys taking vaccination appointments away from people waiting for many weeks in lockdown on the Central Coast, unbelievable!

Is there a gov link anywhere as to where essential workers cannot work?

So that staff letter that was posted has no truth?
I’m just asking because it would affect myself otherwise and I really don’t need a fine atm… lol

Authorised worker can work anywhere, authorised workers from certain LGAs need to have regular covid tests.

Workers from LGAs of concern are not allowed to leave their LGAs for work, people in these areas are not allowed to leave these areas for any purpose outside of critical work.

The LGAs of concern are Sydney: Blacktown, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Georges River, Liverpool and Parramatta.

Following are the areas that require testing for workers leaving the LGA

**Canterbury-Bankstown workers**
If you live in or are staying in the Canterbury-Bankstown local government area and you work outside this area

from Thursday 29 July 2021, you must have a COVID-19 test once every 72 hours (3 days) in order to be allowed to go to work as an aged care or health worker
from Saturday 31 July 2021, you must have a COVID-19 test once every 72 hours (3 days) in order to be allowed to go to work as an authorised worker.

**Cumberland aged care and health workers**
From Saturday 31 July 2021, you must have a COVID-19 test every 72 hours (3 days) in order to be allowed to go to work if you

are an aged care or health worker and
live in or are staying in the Cumberland local government area and
work outside the local government area that you live in or are staying in.

**Fairfield workers**
If you live in or are staying in the Fairfield local government area, and you work outside this area
