Interesting that Dr Chant has been relegated to an “important constituent in Epping” rather than the Chief Health Officer of NSW that did not agree with the opening up changes, with the Premier pretending otherwise.

It sounds very Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon like, awful start for a premier

Has that been quoted somewhere?

Saw on 9 news the Chant did not agree to bringing forward return to school etc ..even though Dom suggested otherwise..

Health advice it seems has fallen below the economics..I hope for all our sakes it works out OK..

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed to hear that regional travel is allowed from Monday as the Vax rate in the regions isn't as high as the metro area.

The NSW branch of the AMA came out last night and stated that it was too early for the changes to lockdowns.I know who i would believe first between the most senior organisation of doctors in NSW and a Premier with zero medical credentials who has not agreed with lockdowns in the past.
The fact that he is also quite religious is a concern when it looks like it is swaying his judgement as well.At this stage i will stick by my "Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon like" comments as it seems dollars not people is behind his motives

Everyone wants freedom this is the new norm moving forward ! Chant and friends on the back burner now it’s time to live with Covid .. there will be thousands of cases within a month or so and hopefully the vaccines work and the hospitals can deal with it .Can not stay locked up forever get vaccinated and have a chance this is the new world we live in .

You can not travel regionally at the moment only greater Sydney for the time being !

I dont actually know accurately what the changes to lockdown openings are or what concessions have been made. IMO they should have stuck to Gladys plan for next monday, but IMO this post highlights an issue WRT Covid.

Of course Doctors and the AMA are the highest authority for COVID as a ***medical*** issue, but it is not just a medical issue. It is also an economic issue, a social issue, an infrastructure issue, a societal issue. If the decision is left to Doctors/medical experts, the correct decision always, in every situation is lockdown. If the focus is save every life, we will be locked down for ever.

It isnt only a medical issue however and unfortunately there isnt anyone other than politicians in a better position to weigh up all of the different aspects of the issue and make these decisions.

As of Monday you can day trip to the regions but not stay overnight. This is a mistake.

Mate until the last two lockdowns I was questioning how Qld handled everything …and as much pain as it has caused for some ( my apologies to you and your fanily Snake ) I have about faced and think we have done the right thing …

I was thinking on this comment and I think all the states have handled this really well. I don't think Qld has been better than NSW or any thing like that. I think that Australia has used lockdowns well. We are also opening up in the right way.

Judging this whole situation now though is I think a little premature. We have to see how the next month to 3 months evolves.

Hey all. Re: this:

A recap the barrister asked Kristine macartney
Shes the one who gave the order to shut everything Down … Is it true that people who are double jab are 13 Times more likely to get the virus and she answered yes

Does anyone know where this originated, or have a source to disprove it? I tried to find a video of the trial, but couldn't. Thanks.

I see a very familiar pattern here in that you started a new account to ask a question about covid on a football forum, not just any question but a question about one of the most bizzarre rumours circling the internet.

Seriously, its already been answered by me on this thread. That's not what the question was at all. You're just quoting an incorrect meme.

Don't forget to check the footy forum for all your financial advice and health related questions.

😂🙌

Seriously though, some very knowledgeable folk on here, good inspiration or information can be found amongst all the tears, banter and discussion.

Do you think about the subject at hand before asking a question about it, or simply rattle it off without considering whether there could possibly be any substance to it or the ridiculousness of it?
