I don't know how true this is but I was told today that the Chinese authorities were welding doors shut on some large residential buildings. Apparently to stop inflected people from leaving thier buildings.
Has anyone else heard this

I can understand running out of Panadol,vitaminc,vicks vapour rub and chesty cough syrup...BUT loo paper...really...I thought the symptoms included a runny nose not a runny arse...IMODIUM fixes that...

I hope they can find a vaccine for this terrible virus...it sounds like it is spreading further and further across the globe by the minute...

There was footage on the news of authorities welding doors shut on apartment complex’s ..
Hopefully When this has all quietened down the Chinese will implement better hygiene practices.

Hopefully When this has all quietened down the Chinese will implement better hygiene practices.

I bet the Chinese restaurants are taking a big hit in Chinatown in Sydney....and most places in Australia at the moment...

Willow,seeing you are pretty cluey about security etc...do you think that since the US are having a battle re trade agreements ,the Hong Kong riots etc,the disputes re the China sea all involving China in recent times...that all of a sudden this terrible virus has hit and it started from China...Im not a conspiracy theorist,but it certainly has wreaked havoc on Chinas economy and many others as well...I often wonder has it been created to slow China down as it has been involved in everything right across the globe recently.??

I think many people underestimated the reach and damage of this virus. I can't stand politics but the damage this is doing to the global economy...as for its original origins, I don't like speculating so I don't have a definitive answer there.

I just thought after all the discussions regarding China and the advancements it was making within its economy,as well as being involved in many things globally,it seems this terrible virus has suddenly evolved in China and it seems to have crippled the country almost instantly...my thought was how do you stop a country powering ahead...slow down its economy ??
