Pubs , clubs , restaurants and small businesses are a no go , but you can pack out Bunnings ?

I'd be furious if I was a small business that had to close while K Mart can stay open. If k mart is "essential", everything is essential.

I’m a Tradie so nothing has changed one bit since the very start of covids

The friendly staff at Bunnings even give you a face mask when you get to the door .

Yep, this is the lockdown you have when you're not having a lockdown. It seriously should have been locked down properly, none of this half arsed crap. Then maybe we would have been free at midnight Friday, now it will drag on for another week at least.

If there was a full lockdown Friday would of been back to business.. half backed lockdown with thousands in shopping centres.. Bunnings and every other shop available ..while other businesses are being sent to the wall ..
They can stick there health advice over it time to live with it ! give us our Freedom back .. enough is enough .

The decision is made at the end of this Olympics I believe Ink .....part of the Closing ceremony I believe .....to avoid the IOC delegates having to isolate twice in a short time

Hopefully most of those jobs will come back as they were all weddings and events etc. We have a few jobs we have to now store and protect until those events are rescheduled which is problematic as well. Financially we will be able to ride this out but it would be much better for us if the lockdowns hit harder and were shorter.

The rule supposedly is she has to be there and the Qld Govt has buried a heap of money into the 2032 bid .....

My problem is Olympics don't seem that big a deal anymore ....lot of Stadiums like Chandler and QEII stadium will need major upgrades ......someone might have a clue how much Sydney made .....58.6 billion as quoted seems extremely unrealistic .......my opinion ...this could end up being a huge farce for Qld / Australia profits wise .....

Well if the Federal Sports Minister , Premier and I (think) the head Olympic delegate aren't there your bid is null and void ......

I think the Olympics now are a waste of money ...you'll never recoup the money unless we were to win a FIFA World Cup bid within 15 years ......

She is going to follow all the lockdown policies ..why waste the money we have already invested .....

No but I am available to sing at people's weddings if required. I run an Ice company lol. We do everything from bagged ice, dry ice etc through to ice sculptures. The ice sculptures are the big value part of the business and is where we lost in the wedding and event side of the business.

I think all retail should be closed if we are going to have this lockdown, maybe we could be ending it soon if people weren't at the shops.
