Really hard to believe that the definition of an essential worker in NSW is still worked out between an employer and employee.

What the hell!

I would think all small business owners would classify themselves and their employees essential.

Now that just about everybody else has done so, the head of the WHO has also now reversed his rhetoric on the lab leak origin:

“There was a premature push [to rule out that theory],” he said. The WHO chief, who is an immunologist, stressed that he himself had previously worked as a lab technician, “and lab accidents happen”.

“It’s common. I have seen it happening,” he said, stressing that “checking what happened, especially in our labs, is important”.

“We need information, direct information on what the situation of these labs was before, at the start of the pandemic.”

I find it disgusting that this very plausible theory on the origin of the most damaging global pandemic in a century, was so ferociously smeared and censored as an 'extremist conspiracy theory' for so long.

Plenty of people who should have known better participated in this for political reasons.

**Man held 'pop-up party' in Manly**

A young man set up what police described as a "pop-up party" on the beachfront in Manly last night.
The man brought a van loaded with sound equipment to the South Steyne and began playing music for dancers.

"When spoken to, the young man tried to convince police it was some sort of marketing strategy or exercise strategy when clearly, clearly, it wasn't," Deputy Commissioner Gary Worboys said.

"The people who contacted police described it as a party in the street."
The youth was issued an infringement notice.

Police are now focussing on beaches and parkland for coronavirus breaches.
The deputy commissioner warned people from trying to leave Greater Sydney.

"We have spoken a lot about people moving outside Greater Sydney and trying to disguise that in some sort of business trip what it is really a holiday," he said.

**They are ruining it for everyone else 🤬🤬**

There are people out there who think Covid will be gone if we don't pay attention to what the government and media are saying. They reckon that once everyone stops listening the government they will stop with the so called "hoax".

Did anyone see the sky reporter take on Gladys about how VIC lockdown works - she laughed & nearly snorted saying it didn’t work. Interesting because it has in the past. She could have egg on her face in a big way soon.

Be interesting to see if VIC come out of lockdown next week and if Sydney just starts to get more aggressive with lockdowns.

We will not leave lockdown anytime soon with people purposely flaunting and laws.

Cabinet crisis meeting discussing tightening restrictions even further

Police bust learner driver who was unaccompanied doing 223km/h after video is uploaded to social media by mates
How dumb are these people 🤬

Their disrespect to the people in the ICU and dead due to this pandemic is plan to see as well. On facebook on the NSW health posts someone wrote "she was in her 90's it was her time to die".

At least it might snow at my place again tomorrow. Makes lockdown a bit more enjoyable.

Hopefully cops sit at the bottom of lapstone hill and book everyone.

Jealous! I would love to live somewhere where you could wake up to snow.

Therein lies the problem, of which I am almost certain you are in agreement.

People are also saying the fines are easy fought because they have no standing when you take them to court. Is this true?

Doubt it. Sounds like that 'Sovereign Citizen' movement who don't think laws apply to them.

Even though there is personal benefit involved, the 300k plus people of the Central Coast should be insulated from the Greater Sydney lockdown and have access to Newcastle and the Hunter above.

Surely it would make economic sense to compensate those normally travelling to Sydney workers that cannot work from home. With only the Hawkesbury bridges, ferry and a rail line needed to be controlled as barriers with sporadic checks.
