239 cases

That is horrendous

Night curfews in those LGAs of conern is required. Citizens still not doing the right thing.

Will night curfew make a difference?

Night curfew was used here in Victoria during our long lockdown. It achieved two things:

(1) It sent a very clear message to the community that our government was serious about the restrictions it had put in place. (Something I feel may be lacking in NSW).

(2) It made the job much easier for police. You were either travelling to or from shift work as an essential worker or you were seeking urgent medical attention. There was no other good reason for being out and about.

You get the sense Gladys is too afraid to put in the really effective restrictions that involve real pain.

In Australia, one of the few doctors brave enough to use the drug to treat patients and save lives, Dr Mark Hobart, was reported to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Thankfully, AHPRA advised that there had been no infringement. Indeed, federal Health Minister Greg Hunt wrote to one of the doctors in Australia who prescribes Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective) confirming that he was aware that some physicians are prescribing Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective) off-label for Covid and that they were quite within their rights as the practice of prescribing registered medicines outside of their approved indications is not regulated or controlled by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), it is at the discretion of the prescribing physician. Yet the silence persists. Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective) is the drug that dare not speak its name.

NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller has made a formal request to the federal government for Australia Defence Force assistance.

The anti-vaccination mob are currently running with the "it doesn't kill healthy people" theory. That's all well and good until it mutates into a more dangerous strain that is affecting younger people. We are finding with the Delta strain that more people under the age of 40 are being hospitalised and in ICU. It's already taken a step in the wrong direction. Do we really want to chance that it won't push further that way again?

I was recommended watching this video when I first click on it I was thinking it's a trap two Pro vaxxers talking about the long haul effects of having covid and being vaccinated and the spike protein they both recommend taking Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective) after being vaccinated and after having covid it's the first study in the world of its kind basically if have been vaccinated you will have problems up to 15 months from the last jab and Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective) will help correct problems same if you have had Covid

Exercise is one of the triggers that gets the response in the body

It has lot of the science in the video but great to list to

Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective)

We should be factual. My understanding is that the data for this is fairly poor. I think that this may also be because there isn't really much money in producing Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective). I'm not stating that this is good or bad or getting into a political discussion about this issue. It's just that the data isn't great quality data through no fault of any particular person.

In stating that I believe that Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective) could play a really good role especially in poorer countries without access to vaccines or just as a treatment post COVID infections. It had I believe a positive impact with very little cost or downside in a fair number of patients.

Already been discussed and noted. The latest studies and trials though, don’t look all that promising and it may not be actually effective at all.
