Vaxers have a read of this
I read it. Can you explain in laymans terms why this is a concern if you are vaccinated ?
I don't see any issue.
Added:- Science is a funny thing in some ways. Sometimes you get ideas that lead somewhere and sometimes you don't. You can get studies that disagree. As a layperson you need to be able to step back and see the bigger picture.
In laymans terms the study suggests (purely in vitro) that the S1 spike protein in COVID may inhibit DNA repairing itself when damaged which may explain some of the long lasting effects of COVID. The implication for vaccinations is that the vaccine prompts the creation of S1 Spike proteins and therefore introduces these proteins which could potentially have the same effect in a vaccinated person.
As I said in a previous post, even if this is correct, consideration should be made that the creation of S1 protein in the vaccination is reasonably localised and supposedly short lived in contrast to the virus which spreads throughout you and lives as long as it can or until you die.
