Could we be making way for a big name player?

I think you're mostly right boonboon (not totally sold on Anasta as a 7 but agree it will help Marshall) - r**I don't disagree with a player turnover, it is more the way it is being handled that bothers me. Someone like Chris Heighington surely deserved to be told in June or July rather than being hawked around in September.**

Absolutely agree. For someone that busted his guts every game for year after year he was shoved out the back door like a dog. Disgusting

It hasn't been done great, but they didn't sack him, they told him when his contract expires at the end of 2013 they will not be extending it,if he chose to leave they would grant a release, when you look at the whole story it is not so bad.

Heinington is overrated Ben Murdock is is heaps better Chris always steps 5 times before He gets to the line Ben runs strait and hard. I'm happy he is gone.

Jennings is not going to help the overall team performance (IMHO anyway)… We need another good prop and someone to play halfback who isn't Braith Anasta.

True, but it would be nice to have a bit more blistering pace in the back line  I'd forgotten all about Jennings!

Agree with you both. Jennings would be nice.

**But unless we get a halfback this off season's "spendings" will be deemed a failure.**

I don't want lui back. I was proud that the club ( eventually) did the right thing and got rid of him. I don't like what he represents and it's disappointing that people have forgotten he attacked a women. Twice. Second time being pregnant. He is a low life and should of been banned from RL for good. If the same people that stopped mason coming allowed even talk of lui coming back then the club is a joke.

Could not agree more!!!

So sick of people discussing the Lui's position as if it is only a football related matter and the fact that the Tigers struggled at the half-back position since he left is the only issue that needs to be considered when considering his return.

what if she said 'the baby is your cousins' or he walked in on her with his cousin? what if she is one of the types that baits him until he does something? we know he has an issue with alcahol, hadn't had a drink all season, just got kicked out of the comp… its a very very low act. but you are assuming you know all the facts. he isnt in jail, it must tell you something.

i know a lot of people here dont like anasta and think hes too old but imo hes just what benji needs atm
$200,000 a season is a steal as well

That is a disgusting comment -doesen't matter what she said mate you dont bash up a pregnant women or any women for that matter - Mods surley that kind of comment deserves a warning or something. Lui should never be allowed near the club again and should have been kicked out of the game permanently

how is it disgusting? im allowed to discuss the rob lui issue as much as you are.
i said ITS A LOW ACT… i dont condone it. you cant justify it and I havent tried to. i have just tried to show some perspective that there were obviously **other contributing factors**.. he did not go to jail.. if it were as plain cut as many suggest he would have been locked up.

Look at the stats, in 2012 our defense was appalling and our yardage game was also poor. Thats where you look to bolster in 2013, Anasta is a good footballer, but he is not going to do 30 tackles a match and 20 hit ups. Iam not sure if we need any more old slow legs in our starting 17.

On the other hand he might be the best signing since the big pom–time will tell

It's his calm head and kicking legs that we need. Everything goes to crap when we're under pressure, especially when Farah doesn't play. Plus we must have the worst general kicking competition in the comp.

farah crumbles under pressure too though.

the boys crumble because there not much else in the team with anasta and some speed out wide they wouldn't have to lump the burden on there own

Mate I do agree, we lost a fair few games this year by lack of control and poor decision making!
The extra kicking game will add another dimension especially when benjis off!!

Parramatta are set to offer Farah a 5 year 3.7 million dollar offer, robbies manager already has the letter of intent Tigers are clearing space to keep Robbie. if they don't there will be money to replace him

Wow!!!big decisions need to be made.glad I'm not the one making the call.Surely we can't compete with that???

Will it just come down to money for Robbie and if we match it he will stay a tiger for life ? Or is the 1 club aspect still a chance if money is decent or similar to parra … Amazing, take away any emotional part and our tiger glasses but I think that would have Robbie at about 33 at end of the deal I guess that's ok but by then who knows ... He's gotta look after himself though and that's great security for himself with 5 years.

Robbie is a top class hooker and even at 33 will be on his game. I would doubt we will ever see Robbie leave the Tigers he had his chance a few years ago. As for Parra - someone said Sandow and Hayne will be gone - Why would Sandow leave - he isnt getting that money anywhere else so why would he leave
