Cowboys interested in Mcqueen

I feel sorry for the bloke. He hasn't played badly in limited opportunities.

If it's true, I don't really blame him. He hasn't been given much of a chance.

Sorry mate but I need to respond. I've seen all the ISP games this year except one. McQueen has been very average all year. I was totally shocked when he was given a run in the NRL side because he'd done nothing to earn the opportunity. I actually think Cleary did it for one of two reasons a.) to try and spark some competitive juicy and hoped he rise to the occasion or b.) just to show other clubs he's still around to try and move him on. Either way, he didn't deserve to be promoted.

Never the same player after the neck injury.

Time to be moved on.

Some gambles work some don't. This one didn't work.

You would be dreaming if you thought we would not be topping up his contract elsewhere. Even if he approached us for a release, I think you would find some deal is be brokered with another club and no club would take him on with his current pay deal.

If we have to top up 100g a year its still a great deal, we free up 300g and that will buy us a better player for our needs.

Its a win win situation

Definitely time to go. Last weekend I thought he didn't commit a couple of times in plays when he had every right to. Seemed like he was really looking out for himself first. I was hanging in there for him as a fan, but that sort of thing leaves me cold.

A very disappointing signing.

Nothing against McQueen but he hasn't set the WT world on fire. For a player of his experience he should of been able to force his way into the first grade squad but hasn't. If he wants greener pastures to try somewhere else, good on him and I don't mind too much if WT have to,sweeten the pot. It frees up a slot for someone else who should be able to realistically compete for first grade selection each week.

What a letdown, typical us getting everyone else's rejects. Former SOO quality player to zero.. We need more class/quality.

I didn’t see the game but his numbers were impressive on the weekend.

Most tackles and well over 100m in attack.

Not bad after the injury he had.

He doesn’t break a sweat in NSW Cup Clearys never going to play him when he doesn’t want to be there.

Taking into consideration all the players we let go to get him, Adam Blair is the worst signing we’ve ever made in my opinion.

Heighno left and more importantly, Fifita left.

Great job Sheensy, way to think it through.

Zero tackle named top 10worst signings for 2018\. And we made 30% of the field…. Josh Reynolds, Tanne Milne, McQueen...no wonder IC is gun shy signing new players for 2019..his 2018 record is nothing to write home about....

I’ll go you one better. We chose Matt Groat over Andrew Fifita.

Im not a IC fan boy like many others on here. However, he can't be blamed for McQueen. Chris was signed before IC became coach.

Reynolds is a silly criticism. He has been good when on the field. Injuries happen.

Given we terminated Milne for taking drugs and therefore he was gone from our cap for most of the year, Im nonplussed by that one.

Zero Tackle didn't even include Bryce Cartwright in the top 10 worst signings…

Yep it broke us.

I remember we did well the year before and was thinking how good we got Blair next year and tigers are going to be a force. It's been downhill since then.
