Given what has happened in Melbourne and the players they lost and not to mention morale, how good a coach is Bellamy to get the team where they are right now. He will take over from Bennett in due course as the best coach in the NRL.

You must remember Muffstar they still have the best hooker and fullback in the world at the moment High class half back and very under rated five eight and a solid forward pack similar to ours . Going to win a lot more than they lose

They seem to play better as a team than anyone bar the Dragons. Forward pack is ok but they had plenty of journeyman footballers on the field last night - Norrie, Thompson, Woolnough - difference is they are playing to their ability for the full minutes.

They should stop crossing to pictures of him in the box.

He really isn't a good representation of the game

Great coach and will one day be considered one of the greats.

Would love him to coach Wests Tigers ahead of Sheens any day.

When Jamal got whacked over the sideline I believe from my lip reading he said "Yeah smash that f&%^# n&^ n!(

yeah he done so well for NSW

Different type of coaching. Rep coaching is inheriting a side of 17 and getting them to click for a big game. Club coaching is recruiting and retaining players, working on combinations over a whole off-season and season proper and even several years, bringing juniors into grade and filling voids left by departing stars. Bellamy is someone who has done very well coaching a club side, but struggled in rep footy, whilst Ricky Stuart is the opposite.

Another one of the Canberra clan coached by tim sheens, Mal Meninga, Ricky Stuart, Craig Bellamy, Kevin Walters, Royce Simmons, John Cartwright and probably more that i just cant think of at the moment.

He was offered the job and rejected us.

I am not a big fan, but he can bring the best out of players just as Bennett does.

Yeah made up some excuse that he couldnt leave his family or something and stayed on at brisbane for a little while longer and then headed to melbourne
