Just walk away boys and girls. This story proves that getting into brawls with people you don't know when your out on the town isn't worth it. Just swallow your manly pride and walk away, because you can easily be the receiver or be on the receiving end. Either way you'll ruin your entire life

You are 100% correct mate. The smartest thing anyone has said on here in a long time.

Very true . Always thought that way . To much Teststorome and alcohol don't go together . To many people have to much pride.

My condolences to the family

When will people ever learn and when are the authorities going to attempt to stamp this sort of garbage out

If it means any fights in public means jail time so be it

Maybe the bars need to have breathalizers that every drinker needs to blow into and if you are over .15% no service I don't know but this needless loss of life has to stop

That's right, I was in a situation a couple of years ago where I was leaving a nightclub with a couple of mates, I was deso and as we walked to my car, for no reason at all we were followed to my car and set upon by Pacific Islanders. I got smacked from behind but luckily they caught me more on my lower cheek and didnt do any significant damage. We all could of tried to of been a hero and took the guys on, but we manage to talk our way out of it and all I lost was 20 bucks. The cops then took care of them after.

No point pouring fuel over the fire.

I know the feeling, crossing over Hyde Park a few years back we were followed by a some blokes who wanted to throw them with us. We headed back to the road side with them kicking at our feet and baiting us. When they realised we weren't biting they decided to crack one of my mates in the nose and run off. He suffered a broken nose, but really it could've been a lot worse. Although we had almost double their numbers, we knew it was a battle we wouldn't win if we engaged in a street brawl, they really are a lose/lose situation, yet sadly many people I know would've taken them up on their offer to brawl and come out with much worse than a broken nose.

very sad but it happens everyday & everywhere.

as for that mutt Fieldsy - enough said.

please respect both the families of the deceased and the alleged protagonists and shut the hell up until the smoke clears!

he was busted for cocaine use and claimed his drink was spiked at Star City Casino (as it was named back then).

same night buddha mcguiness got done for ecstasy and tried the same BS defence before falling on his sword.

along with hoppa's digital anal penetrations - this was the lowest point of our franchise!

and Mr Lamb presided over all of it.

if you were about to drive your car "deso" you deserved much more than a smack and you're lucky that it maybe prevented the cops from spending time taking you in from a much worse incident.

PS - any monkey who feels the need to describe their protagonist to a forum as PI, lebbo, asian etc has a problem.

as for any gimps who wants to defend jaz, let him grow up & do it himself.

Ellery = Redemption in disguise. Just can't help but belittle anyone who doesn't share your opinion can you Red

I hardly think the fact he played for the Tigers has anything to do with why this topic exsists. A former First grader was charged with Murder. Wether he played for the Tigers or not its irrelavent, this is massive

This is an easily avoidable tragedy - and the bloke who's been named has form & deserves to cop anything coming his way if proven.

Regardless of the circumstances, it should not have escalated to that point & the alleged offenders both need to face the light of day.
