Leaving Khawaja out is a boneheaded decision.
That bloke cops a raw deal at the selection table a lot, whilst the Marsh's just waltz in whenever they feel like it.

You never know how they are going in the nets, how their bodies are coping, where their confidence is etc.

I think Marsh was always going to play because of his recent form, and also his record in Asia.

S Marsh was always going to play, the only way for Khawaja to play is instead of Renshaw or possibly M Marsh (except that would leave us down a bowler). I would rather Renshaw over Khawaja IMO

Anyway lets cheer on the Aussie team and leave selecting the xi to the selectors.

The Marsh brothers recieve favouritism. They are average players at this level. If you trust the selectors than more fool you, they consistently get it wrong.

Stryker's right , we need Khawaja's batting more than Marsh's bowling

Well Starc is now 57 not out. And he actually has a better average than M Marsh

Mitchell Starc batting average in test matches: 24.33
Mitchell Marsh batting average in test matches: 23.18

TBH i would rather Head batting at 6

O'Keefe is junk

Pity Allan Border isn't in India ,even at his age he'd land them better

He basically there to bowl darts and contain the batsmen, but every second ball is drifting down the leg side and is cannon fodder for the Indian batsmen. Surely Maxwell or Agar could do the same thing but better and give you a lot better fielding and batting options

Your mate Warner should of judged that half chance better , should be 4-46

It's OK your Indian team is making a fight back…3/70 at lunch..even though AB just said the Aussies have our noses in front...

Did you hear Warney ??

A ball turned from O'Keefe and he pipes and says "the ball must have hit a crack "

I'm not an Indian supporter Geo , its just hard when because of the NSW bias we pick a 2nd 11 as our Test side

at the start of the day, if someone told me the Aussies would have India at 3/70 with Koli in the sheds. id take that.
however wouldn't be surprised if someone does a Laxman and puts on 200 after lunch

I would have went with young Swepson over O'Keefe and Maxwell over Darsh but I will still back the team selected to do the job…rather than throw knives from the boundary...
