Harris about to make under 10 runs here.

You called it mate 😢

Honestly I don't rate him hey..

Looking forward for a big innings between Labba and Warner!

Well, you’ve got that.
1 down and trail the Poms 1st inning by 6 runs

If England weren’t so terrible in the field and actually took their chances this would be a lot closer.

Yeah, they've been woeful mate. Their slips cordon have been awful. A few beer fines going into the kitty after this innings.

Stuff em..Poms can drop every catch, bowl em off no balls, score duck egg with the bat for all I care..

I can’t see the Poms having much with the bat in the second innings. Their body language looks defeated. This will be the final day if they can get a whole day in.

When I was a kid the Ashes series started off in WA, the touring side would play every state side and every state country side before playing the first test. They were up to speed by the time they hit The Gabba. This Pommy side had a internal friendly as their only warm up. No wonder they got a touch up.

Two pink ball tests will bring them back into the contest, Anderson and Broad will swing the ball big time and swing bowling is not our strong suit.

Pleased for Gary to finally get his 400th scalp and pleased for Travis Head to finally deliver against a good attack.

I think they’ll take take some heart the way they fought back. The Aussie attack is far from invincible. Like you said, two pink ball Tests with Broad and Anderson back in the fold, brings them into the contest. Leech has gotta go. Better off having no spinner at all. Offers nothing.

England fined 100% of match fees for slow over rates, deducted 5 test championship points.
Travis copped 15% for an audible obscenity

I am sure that he is being sarcastic

Remember last summer when we destroyed India in the first test. All out for 36. They ended up being dominant for the rest of the summer. Hopefully England don’t do the same
