Not with clouds and rain about 2nd innings under pressure. Australia struggle to make 300 atm in good conditions.

Well, the batsmen have let us down again.

The English found batting on this pitch to be a simple task. If they weren’t chasing quick runs, they may have scored 700+.
Our blokes have been indecisive, unsettled and dare I say it, scared.
The difference between the two countries has been the application of skill and mindset of the teams when batting.
Our guys duck and dive, prod and push…their batsmen stand tall and pull the ball to the boundary, like men.
The English press is going to beat these guys to death…they deserve it for the way they’ve performed these last two tests.

Our only hope is for more rain than has been forecast. Very disappointing.

We are holding on by our fingernails. The only player who can save us is Please Rain, for 2 days, and that’s unlikely.
We’ve been smashed from pillar to post since the start. I said earlier we’d be facing a deficit of 100 but 275 too daunting, and mentally we were never going to fight back.

This test is so bad it was like when England normally tours here and they fall apart in all tests,so far it has been the worst performance i have seen for many years and if we fluke a draw due to weather it is something we do not deserve.Certainly losing all 4 tosses gives the poms the advantage to run the show the way they want but that is no excuse for this

Pat Cummings normally a great bowler and reasonable tail end bat cant do anything well at the moment . The strain of captaining against these bitter and twisted poms is affecting his whole game and his field placings which are dumb .
For his own good hand over the captaincy to Smudge for rest of the Ashes and let him concentrate on his own game

Issue isn't just batting it is our stupid bowling. Why we are continuing to bounce them waiting for a mistimed shot when they are pasting us is beyond me. Make them play and make them protect the stumps. Use the bouncer sparingly, after you have them nervous around off stump.
