Starcy nearly got us to two hundred.
That batting was woeful, undone by spin again, and we are pace heavy in India again.
What about Marnus wasting that review? He never thinks he’s out.

That drop hurt us, we were on a roll and needed to keep it rolling not give em chances. Especially Kholi, you could see his determination afterwards.Well, it was looking good for the Aussies early, but the end told a different story - all over in 41.2 overs:

Still it was poor top order batting against spin again that cost us.
Starc ,Hazelwood and Warner get pass marks . Smith batted a while but got bogged down .
Maxxy is meant for last 10 overs .The rest failed .
The biggest duds are Carey who hasn't performed for a while now . He plays right across the line always and Green who is not suited to White Ball cricket period !

In game penalties for slow over rates at this WC, about time.
Some writer called Horne from the Australian said essential to drop someone from the world cup squad to put The Goat in !
While I agree its essential to have a REAL spinner in India and Lyon is definitely that he suggested dropping Stoinis ? This guy is an aggressive match winner . The obvious one to drop is Green who is ineffective with bat and ball . Note he was only given 2 overs in our first game and that tells a story .
Not sure we are allowed to change our squad anyway .
Also Carey is simply out of form and other wicket-keeper Inglis is a bit hit and miss but Carey is miss and miss

The worst performance by an Australian team I can remember . Barring Maxwell with the ball not the bat and perhaps Starc reasonable bat and ball the entire team were pathetic miss fields many dropped catches and a batting line-up that couldn't time or middle a shot

Getting smashed by spin, we can’t bowl it or bat against it.
Couldn't bat against the Sth African seamers also and the fielding was 2nd rate .

Couldn’t bat against Indian seamers either, they took some wickets too. Left arm spin has taken half our wickets so far, and every bowler that has bowled at us has taken a wicket. It’s a feast for all bowlers against us at the moment, we’ve had no answers.
Don’t get me started on the fielding, you could see it in England, this should have identified after the Ashes and we should have trained for it. Fielding sets your standards.
