Wickets a road, getting another 18 wickets to win will be near impossible. Lyons seems to have lost his mojo. Our three quicks after the new ball had lost it zip looked non threatening. Time will tell but this one could drag out for a draw

Its been a while since Lyon had any mojo
No zip off the pitch and whatever turn he gets is slow turn

Much prefer they prepared properly to go hard from day 1 in Perth.

No mate, I’m on a mercy mission to the Sunshine Coast. My only sister , age 82, has lung cancer which has now spread to her brain so we’re going to have a final catch up ( as she doesn’t want a funeral).
A sad, sentimental journey but needs to be made.
We stopped in Sydney to have Xmas with my son and family.
Leave early tomorrow morning, staying in Grafton tomorrow night then on to the Sunny Coast. Not sure how long we’ll be there.
I’d say Happy New Year but I’m not feeling it !

For India to win, they need to bowl the Aussies out for under 300 like they did in Perth. Once it goes beyond that they are cooked, cos they don’t have the batting to compete. Some of them have showed glimpses, but apart from the second innings in Perth when they had the upper hand already, they have not batted collectively. Their bowlers have to do the bulk.

I sat there for hours no wickets. So I go and do some yard work with the radio on and wickets tumble. I jinx myself and missed everyone of them.

Yep I would probably be doing that even if India don't make the follow on. Pitch still looks pretty flat

Notice our fielding looking a bit ordinary
Lot of miss fields
Every time they block the ball its an easy single
Smith dropped a hard chance
Not once has slips or gully caught anything
Marsh and Head slow movers
We seem to battle to get last few wickets every innings
Not sharp !

The Australian Public will turn against him pretty quickly if/when he stops scoring runs. For now im just enjoying the entertainment though

Australia’s only hope of a win is the wicket playing tricks on the last day. You certainly would not give India a sporting declaration on this track the way it is playing now.

At present the Aussie bowling attack looks flat and fatigued. I don’t think there is any real chance we will get done, but if any team can snatch a loss from the jaws of a victory it’s the Aussie cricket team
