Good to see Misbah having a go after such a dismal effort in the ODI's.

Still wouldn't mind seeing Notch cause some carnage though.

Aussies in deep trouble. Pakistan only 6 wickets from victory. It could be over before lunch the way the Aussies are batting. Lyon with match figures of 2 for 220 on a turning track. No one has stood up with the bat other than Warner.

Hopefully smith, had din, Rogers and others can bat for a while tomorrow and at least show some fight going into the 2nd test. Clarke very short of time in the middle.

apparently tha's what the BCCI wants… they want WICB to go bankrupt so all the top WI players can play fulltime T20\. T20 generates the biggest $$$ and the ICC/BCCI want that.

did anyone hear about the new ICC president? he's banned to be the BCCI president so he becomes one for ICC :laughing:

Unless Haddin produces something special with the bat you'd have to think this will be his last test

He was pretty bad last night , couple of dropped chances and then standing on the wrong side of the stumps to get a probable run out

Amateur hour , and the less I say about our spinners (well slow bowlers ) the better

True Glen , but wouldn't you want to be working with a younger player at the start of his career than a player in his last years

I'm a big Haddin fan , but the last 2 tests he has gone backwards
 
Unless someone knows a brilliant rain dance I'm guessing we will be handing the No 1 in the World ranking back almost as quick as we got it

Comprehensively outplayed in thus series by a professional astute Pakistan team. It's been tough and very disappointing. Very few bright spots. They'll have to put it behind them too with home series coming up rather shortly.

They have absolutely no idea on foreign pitches. They'll beat India 4-0 and the mini crisis that's about to engulf the media and public will disappear until the next time they travel overseas, which interestingly enough will be the Ashes next July. Yes they won in SA, but that was on pitches that suited them, cos naturally SA pitches were going to be groomed for Steyn and co, so that was right up their alley.
 
Anyone who wants Watson back has rocks in their head. He's an easy wicket in the top order, and doesn't want to bat mid order. Only bowls when it suits him.

Marsh has his career ahead of him, Watson is spent.

He is the best option at three we have at the moment in my opinion CB

Not saying that is a good thing , but who else do you bat there ??
