Cricket Season Thread

This thread is the best on this forum. The amount of posts that are proven 100% wrong is huge. I cant wait for those who stick the boot into the Aussie cricket side when they are down to turn up and call them arrogant bullies now they are starting to win. Very entertaining.

Anyway….crushing win by the boys, India is in shock.

It's one Test Stryker …...

How many Tests does that earn O'keefe

30 ??

Besides the point Happy.
I love this thread because it always contains ridiculous boasts from members about how poor the Aussie side is …"worst to ever leave our shores etc..." or unfair assessments of their attitude "flat track bullies" "arrogant tossers"
Lol it is great.

I don't think so Garry is amongst the worst spinners to leave our shores…

Indian batsmen should smash them to all parts...Oh...

I never left Pie Boy

We could be the new Marvel super heroes

Commander Death Rider and his faithful but incompetent side kick Pie Boy

We must drop M Marsh, we don't need a fast bowling all-rounder as our 2 main quicks only bowled a combined 26 overs compared to 43 overs of spin. Marsh only bowled 2 overs.

He has just been dismissed for a duck.

Mitch Marsh didn't even bowl in Pune and only bowled 2 overs in this test.

He has scored 35 from 3 innings in this series. I would much rather Khawaja (or even Maxwell)in the team.

Interseting stat:

Renshaw has faced over 100 balls in 5 out of his last 9 test innings

We brought Renshaw in the team to bat for long periods of time and he has done exactly that.
His batting has been excellent so far this series and his knock at the SCG was superb!

50 runs ahead. Absolute gold as this pitch was a real SOB to begin with. We get another 20 on the board tomorrow morning we will need to pull out the stops and roll India as quick as possible in order to chase down before the pitch deteriorates further and before the rain heads in.

A big Niiiiiiiiice Garry with his 8fa.

Reinshaw is the best example of 'if you are good enough ..'
M Marsh on the other hand 'can't bowl, can't bat', Stoinis, SOK or Faulkner at 6 for mine

Hardly blame Mitch Marsh yesterday he got submarine ball that would have rolled most batsmen running around. Okay he would not be in my side at present, but being able to bowl short spells at 140km allows the selectors to go with 4 bowlers. Moses Henriques probably should have that slot at present but he did not go so well in Sri Lanka.

Certainly is. His patience for his age is ridiculous, reminds me a lot of Dravid in that sense. Has a penchant of getting out chasing the wrong ball but can't really get up him when he has scored a century and three 50's from 5 Tests.

His average in India is already 53, he's only 117 runs behind Warner.

We don't need an all-rounder. We have the pacemen to take the wickets, two spinners doing the job well in India. We don't seem to struggle taking 20 wickets at home, I'd rather another bat in there given that our keepers struggle to score runs.
