The scores or should I say non scores make you think the game was played on an uncovered wicket like they did in the really early days of the game. Either that or the poms are totally useless. If I was captain I'd bat for half a session to go out and smash a quick 80 or so runs then declare and have the game over in 2 days.

I think we need to make a rule change for the umpires
When a team uses a review and it is wasted ...umpire should be able to give the team the bird

Archer had to go off with cramps for 40 mins leaving England with a bowler down.
New Head got a Jaffa from Broad but he still keeps getting out the same way. Around the wicket and he's gone.
He might need to work on that.
Harris maybe dropped when Smith comes back.Might be a bit harsh on Harris after one Test. some thought Bancroft was hard done by being dropped after two tests.
Khawaja's only decent recent score was in Tasmania when we already had 300 on the board..and that was a while ago.
I think Wade and Paine have just done enough.

Poms only chance is if the pitch flattens out. Then, they’re maybe half a chance. They’re batting is shot and worse than the Aussies, which I never thought was conceivable. Roy has no defensive technique at all, Root batting out of position, Denly unproven. They’re a mess.
