D/N Tests are deadset rubbish. It might be good for ratings, but the quality is rubbish

But why can't they produce a wicket like that for a non Day night Test in Adelaide

on a big bash note, how good does ben mcdermott from the hurricanes look.Built like the proverbial outhouse he gives the ball an almighty thump.
Travis Head wouldnt have enjoyed watching his innings yesterday.
i think his father is craig mcdermott .cant remember his brothers name but be bowled flat out right arm stuff for the heat a few seasons back.
Ben is certainly worth watching.

They leave more grass on the pitch to protect the pink ball. That certainly gives the bowlers a bit of assistance and evens up the contest between bat and ball.

Burns showed enough today. Granted Shami couldn't bowl and we only needed 90 to win but he dug in despite his issues, got his eye in and then had a go. Took him what 17 deliveries to strike his first scoring shot and then amassed 53 runs off the next 46 deliveries. He showed enough to stay on. I'm still not sold on Wade. Everything going his way today and still threw it away.

He will be replaced by Warner

Or is it the pink ball as Warne claimed ?????

I believe it’s definitely the ball
The pitch can’t make the ball swing

Nothing wrong with the pitch, its the ball, particularly at night.

Yeah but they are drop ins and they leave extra grass on them now with the pink ball ...why can't they do that with the red ball

I don't want to see teams getting rolled for 36 ...but having pitches when 1st innings they have to bat extremely well to get 400 ....

Nobody wants to see teams get rolled for low scores(except the united nations of England). That was an anomoly in Adelaide and i cant recollect any other team performing that badly even in India when all the grass has been removed and it is a dust bowl.
I doubt if i will see anything like that again.
I honestly believe India's main problem stems from the focus on t20,it is not good for the game

Yeah I mentioned taht to someone .....If Rahul isn't holding up an end their batting has a fragility .....but the last thing I want to see in Test Cricket is highways where after 3 days their has been a 1000+ runs and maybe 12 wickets ...i would much prefer to see a Test end on the 5th day and no team score 350 and have to earn every single run and have to bend your back to get the 20 wickets

Too many pitches and rules in cricket are protective of batsmen

Agree. Given the predicament Australia was in....watching India get rolled for 36 was amazing to watch. The quality of Australia’s bowling had more to do with the Indian collapse that the ball or the pitch. There wasn’t any great movement of the ball.
