What’s wrong with these Pommy pea-hearts

They are fed up of getting flogged in Australia.i would not be suprised to see them cancel the tour with some dubious logic

To be honest I wouldn't want to have to quarantine every time I cross state borders either. Just play all matches in NSW and Vic.

They’ve played more tests than any other nation since the start of the pandemic. Australia have played 4. Maybe the question should be what’s wrong with us?

It was floated on the Hello Sport Podcast that if Ashes is cancelled that Aus look at a possible 4 test series with NZ. NZ are playing 2 tests end Nov, Early Dec against Sri Lanka however have no other scheduled cricket till the come to Aus end of Jan for an ODI series. Why not bring them out early if need be.

The T20 world cup starts in about 2 weeks.

They're just agitating for less restrictive conditions during the tour. Can't really blame them, by the time they get here most states should be around (or over) 80% fully vaccinated.

This is exactly it at this stage. They know that both cricket boards and the Australian government will want it to go ahead. Why not go all in for the best deal you can get.

Especially when you know you will get pummelled 5-0 anyway

Yep may as well enjoy your time while getting flogged

Joe Root says he is in so it’s good to go

Still likely to be missing their 2 best players though (Stokes and Archer). Think the series will be a bore.

I think they are both out officially already. Archer would have been deadly out here

Born in Barbados, with British citizenship through a parent.

ECB changed the residency rules from 7 years to 3 years 'to come into line with ICC recommendations'. Can't blame them 😀
