Australia should have been no where near 300. Twice they had Australia on the ropes and let them off.

Australia fought hard more like..

Not really they just belted their way out of trouble both times. Better bowler could have had them in big trouble

Rory Burns is the last English opener
to be run-out in a Test since.. Rory
Burns against New Zealand in
Hamilton in 2019.
Prior to that, the last English opener
to be run out in a Test was... Rory
Burns against Sri Lanka in Galle in 2018.

2nd Innings Aust 0/115 ….(effectively)

Hard to believe Usman hit twin tonnes in Sydney a couple of days ago.
He is really struggling.

Difference between opening and coming in a 5. I say that having pushed for Usman to open. He can do it but has struggled in this test.

A change of gears, how does anyone enjoy 20/20. Thunder currently 8 wickets down after 15 overs. Total garbage.

Don’t know how anyone watches the BBL consistently. I don’t know anyone over 12 who cares about the results. You’ll watch it if you’ve got nothing else to do but really it’s as you said total garbage.

So have Warner, Marnus and Smith - obviously difficult batting conditions high in the order.

Boland did a great job as night-watchman and suffered hits on the fingers which may affect his bowling.
Not only did he protect the next batter due to come in, he also took on the facing much of the bowling, in doing so protected Steve Smith who faced very few deliveries.
