Now it’s 47 overs for the day, they’re just making it up as they go along, these umpires have back the Poms!!!
 
And that’s all she wrote. I guess it’s hard to be too critical when they retained the urn, but it’s pretty piss weak to not go on and win the series after being up 2-0. Especially when the Aussies have not won a series on English soil since 2001. They have not been the same team since the last innings at Lords when England came much closer than they had any right to. Only thing they can be thankful for is that they were already the holders, so they didn’t need to win the series. But given the position they were in, and how long it’s been since they have won a series outright, it’s been a pretty meek surrender. Imagine in 2001, Warne, McGrath, Gilchrist, Ponting and co at the peak of their powers. being told it would be at least 26 years before Australia won another series in England. Crazy.

I get ya feeling from 2 nil up it’s like winning a dead rubber, but not.
We turned up ready to play and winning the first 2 is just as Important as the last one.
We got shafted in the ball change last night, and it changed this test.

Lol you are a loser. I knew you’d have a sook. Ali went for 70 odd runs. If he bowled in the first innings as I wanted him to, we may have won.
Woakes and Broad won that game.
You are too old to be this petty. Why do you do it?
 
Achieved what they went to do-retain the Ashes. Losing Nathan Lyon in the second game was a real killer and in my opinion anyway, made the remaining games a lot closer. A lot of our guys will likely not be there next Ashes series here in Oz due to age or burnout. Be interesting to see what out team looks like when the next Ashes series rolls round.
