Eng and SA tonight is an important game re the table and our chances.
Also top of the table clash tomorrow to sort that out.
Not sure we can win it with Smith and Labuschagne batting 3 and 4. Both outstanding Test players but don't have the power for the 50 over game. I assume when Head's ready he'll open and Marsh will go to 3 and Marnus drops out but that still leaves Smith in. Don't know whether we should persevere with Smith or look elsewhere.

We’ve got Netherland next then NZ and Eng. I reckon they get the next game but a decision needs to be made to replace before NZ. The runs have dried up for Smith and Marnus a bit but Marnus only just played himself back into the side and Smithy, well he is a legend struggling that could click and score a thousand in the next game. Tough decisions need to be made, if Head (bowls spin too), is ready to go for the Netherlands game then I would get him in to replace Marnus.
I wrote off a champion 1500m swimmer starting from lane 8 once, I learnt a valuable lesson in what makes a champion, so I’d stick with The Run Smith for now.
And they all need to work on their fielding.
I remember that race very well. It was a Saturday morning in Sydney and I was watching my son play soccer. Perkins was lucky to make the final and Hackett was unbackable. Perkins took off and was never headed. It took Hackett a while to get over that race ...... but he did.

Hey champion @coivtny we're living parallel lives as a Dad - the same for me, except my son was playing tennis. Watched Perkins race at Macquarie Uni; the place went insane.
996 Olympic Games From lane eight, Perkins dominated the race being the only swimmer to go under 15 minutes (14:56.40), again relegating Kowalski, who had to fight all the way and just held off Graeme Smith. Perkins became just the third swimmer to win consecutive gold medals in this event.
Oops, you are 100% correct. DK was the pre-race favourite in lane 4. My memory isn't always as sharp as I'd like.
It's how I spent most of my Saturdays from 1981 to 2003 covering 4 sons and their sport. Loved every minute of it as I'm sure you did. They all loved their sport. In fact I just got a text from my 48 year old's daughter saying he just scored a century for Glenorie in park cricket.

Hackett came a bit later. Won the 1500 in Sydney and Athens.
The way i see it is that a young bloke only has a small number of memories to examine in their few years while us elder people have far more memories to sift through to get the right answers,think of it as one book versus a library.
