What about Suni G, 13 hundreds against the Windies, when they turned from one lethal pace attack to the next. I wonder how many were on Dr’ed dead Indian tracks with bias umpires who’d get stoned to death for raising a finger against an Indian bat.
The Run Smith, second to the Don for me.
Surprised not to see Punter or Lara there.

Ambrose at his peak was nearly unplayable. Like Bumrah you got very few if any free hits. Of course with Ambrose if you were lucky to get through his spell, there were another three quicks that bowled nearly as well.

My memories of Aussie batsman stuck on their back foot fending of balls coming off a good length at their throats, over after over is how I remember Ambrose.

Ambrose was my favourite non Australian fast bowler,very skilfull and dynamic.He would have been very scary to face even for the best batsmen

Think they might be trying to get some extra work into the Bowlers legs. The stop-start stuff in this humidity would be pretty tough on the body, Bumrah in particular has a fair history of injuries and its a long series. It would be good to see them push the game forward a little bit though.
 
Lyon bowled for 2 off 30 balls .
This is rubbish captaincy
If we run out of time on the 5th day with Lyon unable to break the 10th wicket partnership .Remember recent Sydney tests .
Hope Pat and Lyon remember all this wasted time
 
Result is
A . If India bat well and get 350 +" then its a draw
B.if India bat like they did in the 1st innings in Perth and Adelaide then we win

It’s gonna be a draw mate. Too much weather around. India will only need to win one of the two remaining tests.

Next couple of hours crucial. If Aus can run through them and have them 5 or 6 down before rain settles in they are a shot. Hazlewood is made for this pitch

True but our batting certainly wasn’t aggressive, however, now with India at 3-22 ( and Koli gone) you might be 100%
correct !
