Yous know it’s not the only Great Allan Border Feild/Oval, there’s one at Mosman.

Goods days watching AB go from a good bat to a great cricketer and then to a great skipper. He was and still is my fav all time all round cricketer.

As long as the bowler isn't completely removed from the contest. Yeah 2-3 day Tests are not great for the game, but 5 day bat stat-padding sessions are worse.

I feel like a lot of it is to do with the actual degeneration of quality Test batsmen due to heavy T20 schedules on dead tracks. They get on to a pitch that's doing a bit and they shit themselves.

Mate something I wanted to mention as well is the fact that Sheffield Shield players don't play 4 day cricket at any of the Test Ovals anymore

When was the last time they played at the Gabba , Optus , SCG , MCG ,Adelaide in a proper 4 day format ??
