Cronulla Sharks

What a horrible team they are….can't see them making the eight....

awfully slow, no creativity and small.

Those "Tigers Sharks" everyone was screaming about in 2012...woeful...Gibbs; Rhino; Ayshford; Ryan all are well past their best and I wouldn't have them for free... and did anyone notice Fifita didn't have anywhere near the energy he normally plays with....it was as if he couldn't care less...

and the latest rumor is the Tigers are shopping BMM to the Sharkies....take him please!!

Yep, agree on all fronts. Glad all those players are now their liability and not ours…..

They're headed for bottom 4 mediocrity this year from what I've seen so far....their attack in particular is disjointed and Carney's return looks to have done little to curb that...their recruitment over the last few season's has been mind-bogglingly poor and i think's that starting to show; I don't know why for example they spent all that money on Lewis back in 2012 when they already had a great backrower in Smith playing for them, that should've be invested in a quality outside back to cover Colin best's retirement.....

Newcs did a good job of running players either side of Fifita (esp. Mason) and making him work in defence.

Ryan wasn't playing, was he?

Pat Richards 48 Cronulla Sharks 28\. Big Patty has outscored the Sharks by 20 points so far this season.

From a football point of view it was a boring, uninspiring game especially in the second half. Even though Newcastle won 30-0 my thought was that Newcastle would find difficulty with a lot of teams this year so it doesn't look good for Cronulla.

They have a fair injury toll and a coach that isn't allowed to coach them. They remind me of us last year.

Gallen, Tupou, Lewis, Ryan, Gardner, Robson, Feki and probably more I'm forgetting.

Gallen, Tupou, Lewis is a rep backrow so add that to their side and they'd be a lot more competitive.

Their recruiting hasn't been too bad either. This year it hasn't looked great but they've signed Fifita, Gordon and Lewis in recent years which has worked out pretty well for them.

That being said they're looking pretty bad now, I can't see them getting their full strength side back on the park when their injury list is at least 7 deep at round 4\. Wooden spoon bound imo.

Lol all they did is make us a favour were building a gun young side they took our crap players. Haha did anyone see how crap Blake Ashford is going haha on sharks fourms they want him to nsw cup hahaha all the players they bought are crap from us. I cant wait to see when our great young side will be in top 4 for years to come while they are getting ready for their players to go or retire.

I was feeling pretty sorry for myself getting on the long flight back from Wellington today. Until I turned my phone on when we landed and saw the Sharks got lapped.

I don't believe that..I'm sure Sharpie goes around to Flanno's house for Pizza and beers every Monday nights….he just happens to take with him some videos and its not the type 2 men normally watch either....

LOL!

I wonder if the Sharks have a fair idea what their fate is in regards to the ASADA investigation

They are playing with no enthusiasm and little energy

Haha how good is Blake Aysford going with the missed tackles and arm pulling. There so crap thanks for taking the crap players off us.

Ayshford is close to the worst first grader I have seen in a long time. Going from bad to worse each week. Getting rid of his was a very good piece of business.

They must be looking at the spoon since the OP couldn't even spell their name correctly. A better name for them would be F-Troop - the rejects nobody else wants.

don't forget in recent seasons, when its their turn to play wests-tigers, **they have a remarkable transformation and beat us.** :unamused:

Lol the thing is all the players they bought off us have been playing crap and thanks for taking them off us. Look how great our young side is we will be a force for years to come.

Oh Blake Ashyford, how the wheels have fallen off your cart!

Still has that same lack of facial emotion, appearing eternally surprised that he has been involved in something stupid on the field.

"What, Manly ran the same play down my side and scored again!? How mystifying."
