If cronulla lose the next few matches they will hold the NRL losing streak record :slight_smile:

It would be a special effort to topple the NRL record of failure as it stands

What's their draw for the next 5 games?
 
If they don't pick up a win this week, they're in for a reasonably tough run against some sides that on paper should handle them pretty easily.

Prior to 1998 that there's a number higher. Top was University which was 40 odd games or something stupid.

Yeah I know. I was just talking about since the NRL started in 1998.

sorry Alien, didn;t read it properly.
gummys v rabbit stew may be the battle of the bottom 2 teams next week but gummys v warriors today was the battle of the 2 worst teams in the comp.
 
Jeez the Roosters must have been sad if they managed to beat The Sharks, a team that lost nine in a row early in the year and then went on to lose another ten in a row to finish it off, to the wooden spoon.
 
Some special sides up there, the 1998-1999 Magpies were absolutely terrible, as were the 2008 Cowboys. The less said about the 06 Bunnies the better, while the 2005 Knights couldn't take a trick, every time one of their big names returned from injury, 5 other guys would get injured.

thats ok but i want to see the sharks keep losing. i dont like wests holding that record :blush:
 
Pommeroy finally gets dropped. He has the worst hands in the comp. Lucky Porter is out otherwise I would be flicking Covell as well. The Sharks backline is a disgrace other than Ferguson
 
Funny how Rugby League goes. They go from Top 4 team in 08 to possibly record holders of the NRL longest streak of losses. I think they will snag a win soon though.

Or the Knights 05 who gave the record a real shake, then turned it all around and won 8 games from there on out, and went on to make the top 4 the following year.
 
I hope that they dust souths as I dont think the players deserved what happened to them last year. It wasnt their fault that injuries and suspenions by morons cruelled them.

Let Wests keep the record….they earned it!!!
