I have no idea if the numbers are accurate, just quoted from the article. If they are accurate, I think it just confirms what I and others think; that WT has a very large following - maybe even 2nd team status for a lot of people - I honestly don't think Storm have a large following - if the numbers are true I also think it reinforces the whole narrative that plays out on here that WT are continually the "victims" of media baiting with crap, nonsense stories because they know they will get a large click through - gold for them.

Melbourne have a massive following. Go to one of their games up here and the number of Storm fans in the crowd is huge.
