Curtis Sironen: I can't wait to play... Manly

Sironen's first game was Rd 13…after an injury in the 9's and virtually no Pre-season...by that time or shortly after Dragonsgate the whole team went to palava....

Looking forward to see how he goes with a full Pre-season...under a new coaching staff

Finally some sense.

He looked awesome in our last game.

I watched plenty of Curtis in the under 20's a couple of Season's ago and was off loading the ball at will and putting centres through gaps .
Some just get over excited and expect how he played in the 20's and will have the same impact in 1st Grade . He has been cruelled by injuries no doubt , but hasn't done much since being in Grade IMO. My last image of him was knocking on the ball at will towards the back end of the year.

Agree, does nothing for me.

I really want this kid to fire! He has all the physical attributes and has been touted as a future superstar by some of the best judges in the game (i.e. Johns, Daley, Fittler). Surely they can't all be wrong, there has to be something there. Yet, he has played well within himself, for the most part, since making his first grade debut, but there are several reasons for that - thrown in too early, rawness, positional changes, injury and the low morale that affected the whole team at the back end of last season.

I hope he can find his feet next year and play to his size and the potential everyone seems to think he has. If he does, then he may well be the answer to our back row lack. It would be awesome to have a big, strong, impacting second rower in our team, once again, after the untimely loss of Simon Dwyer. I wish you all the best, Curtis.

I'm another that doesn't get the comments towards him. He hasn't killed them yet but he hasn't been bad at all.

I will leave my opinion of Curtis and the second row debate until I see what JT sorts out.

Me too TT. With the new coach and other staff on board, i'am willing to wait and see what pans out.

Haha we played a sharks reggies wooden spoon outfit coming off a five day turnaround…thatt said Im nor writing him off yet but the pressures increasing on him

On form he dosent make the top 17 .i hope the kid can live up to his potential.potter wasn't good for many of our players ,playing backrowers in the centres and on the wing and playing on the edge isn't going to be good for your game in those playing conditions .

Well we can't have too many forwards left with even his experience in first grade now.

It is certainly going to be a roller-coaster ride next year. I predict some fun times but also some sad times.

Taylor's right though, we are short in 2 or 3 key areas.
