D and kicking game improved 200%

What a change from last week.
If we defend and kick like that all year we don't lose many. Our attack looks after itself and is always hard to handle for opposition but like tonight when our kicking game is on and our D relentless we are unstoppable. I think we just saw the game that Tim Sheens was talking about when he was saying he wanted us to be a little more conservative, tonight was a perfect example of how it can work for us.

Good call Tiger. We played with control and poise without losing anything in attack. Only thing I can see they need to improve on is when we have our first set after a kick off and playing a little smarter when we've ben under some pressure. Example in the Rabbitohs game was when we defended great when souths were attacking at 6 - 0 and we knocked on from a 20metre restart. Instead of rolling it up and then putting pressure on them we were putting ourselves under pressure on a risky play.

yep,just real good smart footy backed up with execution.
and loved the chase by utai to make a good kick by benji the same as a 40/20.
probably one of our best long range kicking games in a while.

was really pleased we kept them to 6 points.closed the game out well.
