Sure they can and I have no dramas if anyone chooses not to eat meat.
When they start to preach about it though, I find it tiresome because there are so many holes in their self righteous pontifications that you can argue around in circles for days.
Instead, I just laugh. They can delude themselves in any way they see appropriate as long as they dont try to preach it to me.
I don’t especially know of any vegans who preach, but I’m sure there would be some. However, I do know a lot of meat eaters who do. Refusing to acknowledge a person’s dietary needs after they were told about it and still putting meat on their plates because they just can’t accept someone having a diet that doesn’t contain meat protein.
They get very offended if you say your a vegan or vegetarian when you go to dinner with them. Seen and experienced it first hand, their behaviour is appalling and very hard to comprehend. I don’t know why people can’t just accept that some people don’t want to eat animals. You’d think we’d molested children the way some of them have carried on.
