GOod Luck to Laurie, loved his aggression on the field, but his demeanour of it has to be worked on. About time we have official confirmation about Flanagan, looks like he'll replace Morris looking at the positions he can play and Moors is a big young second row/prop whom can blossom, especially after playing little footy after the broken ankle… things are starting to shape up now :sign:
Its a shame about Laurie, he looked like such an exciting prospect for us, its a shame he didn't have the discipline or ticker to see his way through the tough stuff that is required in order to become a genuine first grader. Good luck to him I hope he can pull himself out of the hole and turn his life around for the sake of his family and himself.

I don't like to wish bad upon others and i won't but considering this club gave him the chance to turn his life around and he's repaid it with childish whinging to play first grade despite the side performing well and winning…
So what's he do?
Instead of tackling it head on and proving himself he seeks an early release and goes elsewhere...

What surprises me is that the tigers knew that he came with bagage & im probably wrong but maybe more attention should have been directed his way.From someone outside looking in, it seemed like he never fit in with the group

Channel 10 news had him resigning with Wests Tigers in their ticker message down the bottom. I wasn't sure whether to be happy or not. Then I get to work and see in the Telegraph that he had signed with Penrith. Still not sure whether to be happy or not.

He will be no better going to Penrith than if he stayed with us. His manager knows that with the contract that Laurie was currently on and the press that he was getting (before the assualt), he should of been on a higher contract.
Tigers have stuck by their guns and refused the up-grade, Daine and manager have spat the dummy and started shopping around.
This was always going to happen but I suppose his assualt charge is what has stopped him going to a bigger club like Melbourne (who were interested at the time- would of been a good swap- Lauire for Lima).
