Dane Chisholm

as this is unconfirmed and out of the blue… people are not getting the [wests] tigers confused with the storms feeder team in the qld cup, easts tigers, for whom dane played for during the year? just putting it out there…

I love the score in the toyota cup video, Melbourne score a try in the dying minutes to win 46-44 against the Warriors

It has not been made official but I have spoken to insiders who have confirmed Dane Chisholm has been signed

WESTS Tigers have signed French Test halfback Dane Chisholm after he scored a hat-trick against Scotland last month. The son of former Manly half, the late Rick Chisholm, Dane, 21, has played in the lower grades for the Storm and qualifies for France through his grandparents. He has been training the house down at Concord and could be a dark horse to replace Robert Lui.

From the DT. Looks confirmed now.

We are shaping up for a bit of a fight with our halfback position. It will be interesting to see how things pan out.

can he be coached to not chew gum during televised
interviews?

I think Rhino will be taking him under his wing when it comes to interviews in the future

Great news about Chisholm though You can never have enough back up

Who knows he might end up as the starter ??

It won't be Dane Chisholm mate.

Why would we do that when we have both Miller and Moltzen at our disposal?

Ouch!

hahahahaha!!!

Sounds like a promising signing, and another player to add to the list of International experience:

Benji
Blair
Lawrence
Galloway
Farah
Tuqiri
Ellis
Heighington
Chisholm

Does anyone else think that signing Humble and now Chisholm means we definitely wont be seeing Moltzen at halfback?

Miller and Chisholm are actually good mates and are from the same junior club the mullumbimby giants.

By all accounts, this sounds like a promising signing. I didn't realise his dad (Rick) had passed away though 😱pen_mouth: When did that happen? He wouldn't have been very old.

Signing Humble and Chisholm might be the best thing for young Miller, he is without a doubt the best long term halfback option at the club and the 3-way battle should bring out the absolute best and push him to the next level. It's nice to have the depth too. It was only a few years back when we didn't even have ONE halfback.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Chisholm in the 1 if Sheens opts for Moltzen at 7.

Having competition for spots is a nice problem to have, but you have to wonder how its all going to come together.

With so many options, I can see people getting impatient if our first choice doesn't work out. Say Miller gets his shot and struggles to find his feet, how long until people start calling for "player X" to step up, and how Sheens is senile for not listening etc.

Better then having no half options though I guess.

Hmmm I like it. We haven't made enough of these sort of signings in the past. We are usually the victims of it. He goes good.
