Hope she does time but im sure she wont
Theyre both ripping off every taxpayer here

TO Centrelink she was Jade Robinson, a single mum just trying to raise two boys on her own in a rented house at Blacktown.
>
In reality she was the high school sweetheart turned partner and then wife of former Sharks prop David Fifita — twin brother of Origin I Man of the Match Andrew Fifita.

Robinson and David Fifita were living together but that didn’t stop her claiming single parent payments in a fraud that eventually netted nearly $50,000\. Fifita was on a playing contract of about $160,000 a year at the time…....................read more

Hmm, based on previous matters along these lines, she could get 6 months.

A good lawyer will see that she gets nothing. Uncle Andy will take care of that.
Scum like this ripping off working Aussies deserve a bit of cell time. Vermin mongrels.

She could get binned for that. Sentencing for welfare fraud is supposed to come with a heavy dose of general deterrence.

Social security fraud is commonplace but it is the taxpayer who reimburses by paying out of his pocket. If there was no penalty for fraud it would be even more commonplace.

With all the legal tax breaks high income earners get and many more chances to rort the system the working class Aussies suffer a lot more due to that than Centrelink fraud.

Agree. Whichever maggots are rorting the system, it is not acceptable. Jail time is an appropriate punishment for anybody caught doing it IMO.

You would have about 2/3 of business people in prison at least at one stage of their lives. It is self assessment mate - imagine if workers could write out their own payment summaries.

The law against fraud applies right across the board from politicians, big and small business people and even unemployed online scammers. Recently two ex-NSW labour politicians who supposedly represented the working class battlers found themselves in jail due to their fraudulent activities.

We've built a system where welfare is handed out far too easily. Invites morons like this to rort it.

Anyway, did anyone think the Fifita clan was intelligent prior to this?

Strictly speaking it is a ring in - that is in law. When the guy is on a few thousand a week it is inexcusable. I have seen bods here on invalid pensions and every night they are busking down the park doing acrobatic fire wheel displays for tourists. The common working class con is claiming to be living under one roof in different bedrooms with no hanky panky ha ha ha
