David Klemmer #264

I hate that this is happening right now as we start a new season. Just for once I’d like to go into a season without drama and with our full compliment of players all with the same vision and commitment to the team and the club. Why do we have to have this shit scenario to start our season?

That could happen because he’d agreed to a release from the roosters already , so it was all a formality .

It’s the dragons and molo and whoever is taking molo . Until then klemmer had to sit tight . His manager can’t be serious in wanting a first grade spot for his client whilst he’s committed to another club . But look who his manager is …. Nuff said

I am pretty sure that May took the top 30 spot vacated by moving on Chris Fa'agutu a couple of weeks beforehand, and that is why it was immediately approved.

I’m 💯 certain though the reason he didn’t play trials was because he was all but set to go to the dragons .
Which is why he wasn’t training with the team … because he for a few weeks was on another team . If he’s back with the team . He might have lost his opportunity to move .
He’s not mistreated though .
Mistreating him would be what Ricky did to Woodford last year . Had no interest in playing him in first grade , and when a SL club came to Woodford for fair money , sticky didn’t release him . That’s being a dick to your player . Not giving him early warning and a chance to explore his options .

Yea Ricky did this to Horsbrough as well I thought.

The Raiders have a team with stacks of props. I don't fully understand, but I believe Ricky is forcing a contract to be a contract.

Pretty weird a St George player is lining up for us this weekend in reserve grade.
Hope he doesnt sabotage us....

Klemmer will probably play round 2 for the dragons. He would be good for our team on Friday night. I understand both sides of the story, it could've been handled better but we have had wooden spoons and being ruthless is the way to stop the rot and forward plan.
 
It's an odd situation, heavily linked to the dragons but named to play KOE, thinking if he is pulled from this game all will be answered if not have no idea what the F lies in the future, I can't stand it when other clubs stuff us around if the Molo situation wasn't resolved why did they approach him, just stinks.
 
If the molo situation wasn’t holding things up klemmer I feel would of been done and dusted and be far less news
At some stage the dragons will just have to release him imo
Seems to be Flanagan would be good in a staring contest though

Not that simple , Molo has to pay them back money that he put into a house , so it’s get a loan or get your new club to pay dragons the owed money , but that means Molo is again paid up front , can’t see it happening , and I haven’t heard any clubs name mentioned as a new place for Molo , not even us as a swap type deal

Why are they gunning so hard for Klemmer?
I never really thought of the Dragons as a soft team.
You have Lawrie, emre guler, De Belin, Tom Eisenhuth, L Luciano, Jaydn Sua, Raymond f Mariner...

I see many players in their squad who would be starting in ours. Why on earth would they want to sign Klemmer??? I don't see the dire need in their pack, unlike our pack that he is actually needed.

Eisenthuth? Otherwise you on the money. Our pack is better. He ain't no Hethrington. Ask Benji or Madge.

You don't remember how Flanagan re-built the Sharks
By getting in a few experienced players that he could get another club to carry some freight on.
Doing the same a the Dragons.

Plus they are desperate for forwards with Molo refusing to play and he’s the only 1 available.
