We are yet to be able to judge the effectiveness of Sheens second tenure at the club, though we certainly can recruitment wise to this point, including that of Klemmer. Not only that, he moved on a player/s such as Musgrove to allow it and others.

Cannot though understand continuing debate over the signings of Papali'i and Koroisau. They were Sheens' first major landings of targeted quality players, and two absolute beauties at that to kick off the change.
We're gunna hear that record again

Klemmer led the forward pack well and could have had more metres as he was passed the ball on a few occasions when standing at the advantage line without any run up.

I do not think it is all doom and gloom as we dropped plenty of ball which hopefully will not be the case each week.

I agree. We made 14 errors and a lot of those were stone-cold drops with no pressure on.

You guys realise Klemmer is our best player? Do we actually have any other good players?

Heard Brooks was our best.

If our forwards keep competing like that and we learn to convert say 30-40% of our good ball sets into tries we’ll be very competitive. Couple of bad defensive lapses but overall our D was much tighter than last year.

Why was Klemmer not valued more at Knights?

He was everywhere, didn't look tired at any point, made big metres, dominant defender.

Early in the match Stefano got smashed on the 2nd tackle, Klemmer took the next one and bullied his way down field and a quick play the ball and created space for Simpkin to make a darting run which resulted in a high shot and penalty to us. Was doing little things like that in both attack and defense throughout the game. It was an excellent performance and we've got a real top class prop if he can consistently play like that.

One thing Klemmer can do is stop bunny-hoping just before every carry. I don't understand why all these players only wind up after they catch the football and when the opposition are already bearing down on them. Klemmer can carry well in traffic, but he should just wind up early as he can and steam onto it (best he can).

David Fifita is guilty of the same thing, but when the Titans were able to set a shape to get DF steaming onto the footy, he poured straight through.

Because the coach had a problem with him.

If that's the only thing you have to call him on he's doing OK.

Good first outing, solid forwards leader. Young Stef needs take note.
