I wonder what the perception of the Roosters season and Bee Sting Head Robbos prospects as a coach are like after last night. 🤣

He had about 7 players out there.last night with a combined NRL games experience of about 52 games...yet the narrative is always he's been gifted great players.
Maybe last night showed why that's not always the case
I dislike the roosters as much as the next bloke but their coach can coach and he has a brilliant rugby league mind up there with Bennett Bellamy and sheens (at his.peak)

While I agree with @Spartan117 we are a bad break up club so to speak...I've heard anasta say plenty good things about us, but yes they take the mickey out of us and there's only one way to negate that and.thats play good footy and win games
ps - why anyone would care what Brandon Smith thinks has me baffled...

Fair enough. I get your point regarding smith. My point is more that if hypothetically if a fair chunk of the playing fraternity dont take us seriously, then its tough recruiting better players.

Penrith werent their usual self but the game went down to the wire
Roosters had to play well to win...and they played better than the premiers, with half a team of rookies

If I owned a business and an employee was getting paid $800000 but was really only worth $400000 I would be looking to offload that employee also. I'm sure Klemmer is still getting his money one way or another, but it is to the benefit of us moving forward. I applaud Richo and would suggest there is more happening behind the scenes.

Yep. And who cares how thr split was handled if it leads to success. Pretty sure the way Jennings, DWZ and some of the other contracts at Penrith were let go wasn't perfect but because they won and won and won, no one cares now and haven't donefor a long time.

I would also suggest more is going on behind the scenes too, based on the way Richo has hit the ground running since January 2024, working from a hospital bed.

It happens at every club and why some want to make it more of an issue here is like jumping at shadows.

It's a wonder the media haven't jumped all over it by now they love any dirt they can dig up on the Tigers, somebody drops a silent but deadly at Concord and it gets reported as a major gas leak, just infuriating.

When they get whipped it's because the coach cant coach -
When they win it's because they were lucky?
How many teams have put 40 odd points on the Panthers in the last however long?

I would suggest most of that side have debuted at that club, under that coach
They might also be the reason the Roosters have let so many go and not replaced them.
Won't know for 20 weeks.

Something tells me they'll be much better than most people will give them credit for,
and the coaching will have a lot to do with it.

With our massive junior base I don't know why we can't find backs similar to the build of these guys, seems like forever since we have had any.

Why do they do it?
I’m pretty sure most coaches can reach boiling point when they see it. Munster gets away with it because he is seriously looking for a hole or runner. When our guys are crabbing they look like the under 7s.
