Fanatic sports fans , of which we get pages on here to use as reference points are a case study for larger issues in the world , and the whole “my truth is the truth” .
Just for reference , I’ve had people who I absolutely despised , come out later and admit they were going through it at the time . Completely helping shape the way I viewed them , and not jumping DT shadows at others in the future .
And finally just since we are chucking facts out there , most people are incapable of showing empathy outside of the 100-200 people that they have around them at any given time .
It doesn’t mean they’re a piece of shit . It’s a product of evolution and tribalism . So stop with the straw man bullshit because you’re actually the one who lacks empathy , and your trying to justify it with horseshit …

I'm empathetic to those who deserve empathy - and have made it clear that I don't consider Nofa to be the slightest bit deserving just because he "provided joy for you and your family"...

He is a spoilt brat who never matured or grew up to accept any accountability - and he bit the hand the fed him!

The only reason he got an over-priced extension against the coach's will in the first place was because Lee pulled the nepotism card because of his daughter's relationship with Nofa!

Nice diatribe about empathy - shame it is a complete load of bullshit used to justify your bias!

It’s ironic your own lack of knowledge , leads to you throw out insults rather than maybe educate yourself on the subject .
Just for those who don’t understand how tribalism/ genetic coding impacts our empathy .
Think about it like this . Millions of years ago you only cared about your tribe and thier survival , so anybody external of that was surplus to requirements to ensure survival .
Now transpose that to today the same genetic coding exists , which is why when people watch the news and struggle to have any really strong emotion to things like genocides in Africa , or the war in Ukraine . We know those things are messed up , and we should care , and we do to a small degree , but it’s not like we are sitting on our lounges balling our eyes out to the atrocities of it all .
That dissonance is what I’m referencing . If the same thing was happening to your family/200 odd people , you would be crying and emotionally invested .
Which is why genetics and tribalism affects our empathy .
That’s what I wa stalking about . I’m no psychologist , or neuroscientist, that’s basically my layman brain of understanding this part about myself .

I would probably think twice before welcoming him back but a little compassion doesn't hurt either and just asking "how he is" and offer assistance if you can but not go overboard since he has bitten the hand that fed him.

I understand - but genetic coding and the role of the nature/nurture factors are far more complicated and still not fully known.

How it relates to Nofa is immaterial!
